I believe in building a solid student teacher relationship. Getting to know our students shows them that we care, because our classroom may the only place they a sense of safety and belonging. At the same time, we as teachers can use what we learn about them to create engaging lessons that incorporate their interests. I believe in engagement. It is more likely for students to learn if the can relate to the content being taught. In my classroom I will incorporate learning opportunities where my students can make meaningful connections between the content and their own personal experiences. I believe on the benefits of play. During a school day there is a time for every subjects but we must not forget to give students time to PLAY. Using play and hands-on activities can strengthen learning, Therefore, in my classroom I will incorporate constant brain breaks and unstructured play time to create an engaging environment where students can use play to learn.
I believe every student has desire to learn. From birth children have the desire to learn, as they grow they learn from exploring and observing others. We as teachers must stimulate their learning desire for students find pleasure in learning throughout their lives.
